Renovations Announced for Three U.S. Temples
The First Presidency has announced that three temples in the United States will close for extensive renovations. The Mesa Arizona Temple will close in May 2018 and reopen in 2020. The Raleigh North Carolina Temple and Baton Rouge Louisiana Temple will close in early 2018 and reopen in 2019.

Mesa Serving Five YSA Stakes
With 66 young single adult (YSA) stakes operating in Utah, Idaho, and Virginia; Arizona became the latest state this weekend to see the creation of YSA stakes, all belonging to the Mesa Arizona Temple District. The university stake in Tempe became a YSA stake, and new stakes were created in Mesa (2), Gilbert, and Phoenix.

Jesus the Christ Pageant
The annual Mesa Arizona Easter Pageant begins tonight on the grounds of the Mesa Arizona Temple. This free event is open to anyone who wishes to view a portrayal of Christ's life by a 450-member cast. The pageant began over 70 years ago as a service atop a flatbed cotton wagon. Today, that wagon is a massive five-story stage.

Lights, Music, Nativity Displays, and Free Gifts at Mesa's Christmas Celebration
The 30th Season of the Mesa Arizona Temple Gardens Christmas Light Celebration begins the day after Thanksgiving. Performers from organizations throughout Arizona with present free concerts each evening in this year's Birth of Christ in Light and Music Celebration.

Mesa Arizona Easter Pageant to Begin April 1
With the return of spring comes the long-standing Mesa Arizona Easter Pageant: Jesus the Christ, scheduled to open April 1. The pageant is held on the north lawn of the Mesa Arizona Temple, adjacent to the Visitors' Center. This production, based on biblical text, is open to the general public.
